Avengers: Endgame [AVNG4] was dethroned to second at $29.4 million, bringing its sum to $770.8 million after 4 weekends.
Pokemon: Detective Pikachu [PIKAC] dropped 54% from its debut to $24.8 million and third place. The videogame adaptation has scored $94.0 million.
A Dog's Journey [ADOG2] opened at the fourth spot with $8.0 million, well off the $18 million debut of its predcessor. The audience was 58% female and 52% under 25.
The Hustle [NSTYW] finished fifth with $6.1 million, down 53% from its debut. The total stands at $23.1 million.
The Sun is Also a Star [TSIAS] managed just $2.6 million to open in eighth place. The romance skewed female at 75%.
Poms [POMS] tumbled 61% in its sophomore weekend to $1.6 million and the ninth position.
