First trailer for The Mummy

Universal has unleashed the first trailer for the modern reboot of their monster franchise The Mummy [MUMY4].  Tom Cruise [TCRUI] stars as an ex-soldier who uncovers a tomb in the desert and is in the process of transporting the sarcophaus back to London when the mummfied princess, played Sofia Boutella [SBOUT], awakens to crash their plane.   Cruise's character appears to have died and then comes back to life, perhaps foreshadowing a future turn into a monster.   Russell Crowe [RCROW] co-stars as Dr. Henry Jekyll.   The Mummy opens in theaters on June 9th.
