Jada Pinkett made her acting debut in 1991, on the television sitcom A Different World. Although the show had already been running for four seasons and would only run for two seasons after Pinkett's arrival, the show did lead to her noteworthy role in the 1993 film Menace II Society. Pinkett has since plied her talents in several film genres, such as the 1994 comedy The Inkwell, the 1996 crime drama Set It Off, and the 1996 comedy The Nutty Professor, in which she stars opposite Eddie Murphy. Jada became a household name after role's in the Oscar-nominated Ali and the The Matrix sequels. |
