The documentary Lou Reed’s Berlin features the singer's 2006 performance of one of his best albums. The 1973 concept album ‘Berlin’ was originally rejected by critics, so Reed refrained from performing it live. In 2006, the musician commenced with a concert series while Julian Schnabel directed the art and recorded the five night performance which took place in Brooklyn. Emmanuelle Seigner also appears in the film.
