After hibernating for more than two years, Whiteout [WTOUT] has surfaced with an official trailer. Based on a popular graphic novel, the thriller Whiteout stars Kate Beckinsale [KBECK] as a U.S. Marshall investigating the first murder on the snowbound continent of Antarctica. Production wrapped more than two years ago, so one wonders why it took Warner Bros. so long to release the film. The movie looks like a pretty standard action fare where our hero, or heroine in this case, is stranded in an inhospitalable location where she must deal with the elements as well as track down a killer.
After numerous release date changes, Whiteout will finally be released on September 11th, probably.
