The Weinstein Co. has produced the debut trailer for the comedy Butter [BUTER] set in the world of competitive butter carving. Jennifer Garner [JEGAR] stars as the ambitious wife of the Iowa State Butter Carving Champion who is retiring after his 15-year reign. Wanting to remain in the spotlight, she decides to pick up the spreading knife herself and finds herself competiting against two unlikely contestants: her husband’s mistress, played by Olivia Wilde [OWILD], and a 10-year-old foster child. Hugh Jackman [HJACK] and Rob Corddry [RCORD] co-star in Butter, which will be available on VOD beginning September 7th before appearing in theaters on October 5th.
