The fantasy drew a pretty even demographic at 55% male and 56% over the age of 25. A 57% increase from Friday to Saturday indicated a strong family turn-out.
Identity Thief [IDTHF] finished second with another $9.7 million. The comedy haas amassed $107.4 million after 4 weekends.
Debuting in third place, 21 & Over [21OVR] tallied a lackluster $9.0 million. The party comedy drew an audience that was 73% under the age of 25.
The horror sequel The Last Exorcrism: Part II [LXOR2] opened fourth overall with $8.0 million.
Snitch [SNITC] rounded out the top five at $7.7 million, off 42% from its opening weekend.
Phantom [PHTOM] was sunk with less than $0.5 million for one of the worst wide release opening ever.
