Another holdover We're the Millers [WEMIL] remained in second place at $13.5 million. The comedy has stashed $91.7 million after 3 weekends.
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones [CTOFB] debuted third with $9.3 million and $14.0 million since opening on Wednesday. The fantasy skewed female at 68%.
The World's End [WSEND] downed $8.9 million to open at the fourth spot. The British comedy attracted an audience that was 58% males and 71% under 35.
The horror film You're Next [URNEX] underperformed expectations with a seventh placing $7.05 million.
Blue Jasmine [BLUJM] gathered $4.3 million in its wide expansion after four weeks of limited release.
