Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones [OXNRD] rounded up $18.2 million to debut in second place. The horror spin-off was target at Latino moviegoers.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug [HOBT2] dropped down to third with $16.3 million, pushing its total to $229.6 million.
Climbing up a slot to fourth, The Wolf of Wall Street [TWOWS] tallied $13.4 million, down just 27% from its opening. The black comedy has banked $63.3 million.
American Hustle [AMBUL] finished fifth with $13.2 million to bring its total to $88.7 million.
