Marvel's newest addition to their superhero stable Ant-Man [ANTMN] led the weekend box office with an estimated $58.0 million. The film drew an audience that was 58% male and 59% adults.
Last weekend champ Minions [MNION] dropped 57% to $50.2 million. The animated henchmen have banked $216.7 million.
Trainwreck [TRWRC] debuted in third place with $30.2 million. The Amy Schumer comedy attracted moviegoers that were 69% females and 66% over the age of 25.
Mr. Holmes [ASLTM] earned $2.4 million to open at number 11.
