The Thanksgiving long weekend was feasted on by The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 [HGAM4], which led with an estimated $75.8 million over the 5-day holiday period. The finale held 50% when comparing the 3-day portion of the weekend, the best dropoff in the series.
The Good Dinosaur [DINOS] placed second with $55.7 million. Although it's the fourth best Thanksgiving opening ever, the debut is on the low-end for a Pixar release. Families made up 80% of the audience.

Expanding into wide release, Spotlight [SPOTL] shined on $5.7 million over the long weekend. The drama has banked $12.3 million.
Also expanding wide is Brooklyn [BKLYN], which brought in $4.9 million to bring its total to $7.3 million.
Victor Frankenstein [FRNKS] was the only turkey of the weekend, managing only $3.4 million to round out the top 12.
