Fox has debuted the teaser trailer for the sci-fi sequel Independence Day: Resurgence [IDAY2] directed by Roland Emmerich [REMME]. Twenty years after the events of Independence Day, mankind has used recovered alien technology to prepare themselves for the next invasion. Jeff Goldblum [JGOLD], Bill Pullman [BPULL], Vivica A. Fox [VFOX] and Brent Spiner reprise their roles from the original, while Liam Hemsworth [JHEMS], Jessie Usher and Maika Monroe [MMONR] join the cast as the next generation of resistance fighters. Independence Day: Resurgence arrives on June 24th.
