10 Cloverfield Lane [CELAR] debuted in second place with $25.2 million. The thriller drew an audience that was 61% male and 32% under the age of 25.
Deadpool [DEADP.BW] held the third spot adding $10.8 million to bring its total to $328.1 million.
London Has Fallen [HFAL2] dropped 51% to $10.7 million, while fellow sophomore release Whiskey Tango Foxtrot [TSHUF] fell 38% to $4.6 million.
Opening at number six, The Perfect Match [TPMTC] found $4.2 million. The romantic comedy skewed 66% female and 80% over 25.
The Young Messiah [CHRST] reached just $3.4 million from a faith-based crowd of 57% female and 91% over 25.
The Brothers Grimsby [GRMSB] bombed with just $3.2 million. The comedy was targeted at young men, but the turnout was fairly middle of the road at 52% males and 56% under 25.
