The Marvel superheroes dropped 59% in its second weekend to advance its total to $295.9 million. The Jungle Book has banked $311.8 million after 5 weekends.
Money Monster [MONYM] debuted in third place at $15.0 million. George Clooney and Julia Roberts still have some draw left with adult moviegoers.
The Darkness [6MRDR] grossed $5.2 million to open in fourth place. The horror film attracted an audience that was 53% female and 55% under 25.
