Focus Features has released the full-length trailer for the fantasy A Monster Calls [AMCAL] based on the children’s novel. Directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, the film stars Felicity Jones [FJONE], Toby Kebbell [TKEBB] and features the voice of Liam Neeson [LNEES] as a Big Friendly Giant talking tree not unlike Treebeard. A Monster Calls opens wide on October 21st.
12-year-old Conor (Lewis MacDougall) attempts to deal with his mother’s illness and the bullying of his classmates by escaping into a fantastical world of monsters and fairy tales that explore courage, loss, and faith.
