After serving 20 plus years for his crimes in Wall Street, Gordon Gekko is back in the teaser trailer for the sequel Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps [WALS2]. Set to a churning bass line, the teaser effectively re-introduces the world to the man who embodied the high-flying, free-wheeling spirit of the 1980s just as Gekko, Michael Douglas [MDOUG] reprising his Oscar-winning role, introduces himself to the new hotshot stockbroker, played by Shia LaBeouf [SLABE], who is dating his daughter, played by Carey Mulligan [CMULL]. As seen in the Financial Collapse of the past couple of years, greed never gone out of style on Wall Street. Gekko's return taps perfectly into the current economic zeitgeist. Directed once again by Oliver Stone [OSTON], Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps is currently scheduled to open April 23.
