Declining just 34% from its monstrous opening weekend, Split [SPLIT] easily topped the weekend box office again with an estimated $26.3 million. The thriller has already banked $78.0 million after 10 days.
Dogged by a controversial video, A Dog's Purpose [ADOGP] debuted in second place at $18.4 million. The film skewed 56% female and 47% of the audience identified as families with chidren under 13.
Hidden Figures [HIDNF] stayed at the third spot with another $14.0 million. The historical drama has blasted off to $104.0 million.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter [RESE6] grossed $13.9 million to open fourth overall. The zombie fest attracted an audience that was 56% male and 55% over the age of 25.
Gold [GOLDX] struck $3.5 million to round out the top 10.
