Hugh Jackman's final outing as Wolverine pushed Logan [WOLV3] to an estimated $85.3 million, which would top the $85.1 million of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The R-rated sequel skewed 63% male while 68% over the age of 25. Good word of mouth should provide longer legs than the two previous Wolverine films.
Get Out [GETOU] finished a strong second with $26.1 million, down just 22% from its opening weekend. The horror film has already amassed $75.9 million.
The Shack [SHACK] debuted in third place with $16.1 million. The faith-based drama received an A CinemaScore from its audience.
The LEGO Batman Movie [LBATM] nabbed another $11.7 million to bring its total to $148.6 million.
Before I Fall [BIFAL] scored $4.9 million to open at the fifth spot.
