Dunkirk [DUNKR] dropped to second with $17.6 million. The WWII film has amassed $133.6 million.
The Emoji Movie [EMOJI] lost 50% of its opening weekend to finish third with $12.4 million. The animated film has earned $49.5 million.
Girl Trip [GIRLT] took the fourth spot with $11.4 million, bringing its total to $85.4 million after 3 weekends.
Kidnap [KDNAP] debuted at five with a robust $10.2 million. The thriller skewed 63% female and 73% over the age of 25.
Atomic Blonde [CLDCT] tumbled 55% in its second weekend to $8.2 million and sixth overall. The actioner has banked $34.1 million.
Expanding to wide release, Detroit [DETRT] managed just $7.3 million. Despite excellent reviews, the film couldn't find an audience.
