American Assassin [AMASN] opened in second place with $14.8 million. The actioner received a B+ CinemaScore from an audience that was 55% male.
Mother! [MOTER] took the third spot, but with just $7.5 million. The audience of 56% female and 82% over the age of 25 gave the thriller an F CinemaScore.
Home Again [HMAGN] finished fourth at $5.3 million, down only 38% from its opening. The total sits at $17.1 million.
