The eighth episode in the Skywalker saga drew an audience that was 67% males and 33% female. With an A CinemaScore, The Last Jedi should enjoy a long stay through the holiday season.
Ferdinand [FERDN] finished a distant second with a $13.0 million debut. 52% of the audience of the animated film were children while 23% were their parents.
Coco [DDLM] slipped to the third spot with $10.0 million to bring its sum to $150.8 million.
The Disaster Artist [DSART] dropped 59% in its second wide weekend to $2.6 million and eighth overall. The total stands at $12.9 million.
