Dropping 65% from its already disappointing opening, Solo: A Star Wars Story [SWAR2] earned an estimated $29.3 million to stay atop the weekend box office. The spin-ff prequel has banked $148.9 million.
Deadpool 2 [DEAD2] remained in second place with $23.3 million, bringing its total after 3 weekends to $254.7 million.
Adrift [ADRFT] debuted at the third spot with $11.5 million. The drama attracted a crowd that was 62% female and 69% over the age of 25.
Upgrade [STEM] booked $4.5 million to open sixth overall. The audience skewed 64% male and 76% over the age of 25.
Action Park [ACTNP] admitted just $2.3 million to debut at ninth place.
