However, the Marvel sequel proved to be frontloaded as the Friday portion, which included the Thursday preview, accounted for 44.5% of the weekend. The audience was 55% male and 58% over the age of 25.
Incredibles 2 [NCRD2] remained in second with $29.0 million, advancing its four weekend total to $504.4 million.
Last weeken'd champ, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom [JURA5] slipped to third at $28.6 million, totaling $333.3 million.
The First Purge [PURG4] debuted fourth overall with $17.2 million and $31.1 million since Wednesday. The thriller drew 54% male and 51% under the age of 25.
Sicario: Day of the Soldaldo [SICA2] tumbled 62% to $7.3 million and fifth place.
Uncle Drew [UDREW] lost 57% in its sophomore session to take sixth at $6.6 million.
Whitney [WHTNY] charted at the eleventh spot with $1.3 million.
