Christopher Robin [WINPO] underperformed expectations with a $25.0 million debut at the second spot. The audience was the family film was 56% female and 50% over the age of 25.
The Spy Who Dumped Me [TSWDM] opened third at $12.4 million. The spy comedy drew 63% female and 70% over the age of 25.
The Darkest Minds [DRKMN] managed just $5.8 million to open eighth overall.
Teen Titans Go! To the Movies [TNTNG] finished tenth at $4.9 million, down 53% in its second weekend.
Expanding to wide release, Eighth Grade [8THGR] took in $2.9 million to round out the top 12. The coming-of-age drama has earned $6.6 million.
Death of a Nation [DOAN] bombed with a $2.3 million opening.
