This weekend three new releases opened at the box office bringing adventure, romance and drama for everyone. However, Iron Man 2 [IRNM2] continued its reign at first place raking in another $53 million to make its two week total $212 million.
Coming in second was the Russell Crowe [RCROW] historical adventure Robin Hood [RBNHD]. The film which also starred Cate Blanchett [CBLAN] as Maid Marion had an opening weekend take of $37 million. Robin Hood showed in 5,900 screens.
Letters to Juliet, [LJULT], the romantic-drama starring Amanda Seyfried [ASEYF], Vanessa Redgrave [VREDG] and Gabriel Garcia-Bernal [GGBER] opened with a little over $13 million. In at number three, the film unspooled on 3,600 screens.
The third new release of the weekend, Just Wright [JUSTW] took number four with $8.5 million. The Queen Latifah [QLATI] and Common [COMMN] romantic comedy showed to audiences on 2,100 screens.
