Last weekend's winner, Midway [MDWAY] was second at $8.8 million, diving 51% from its debut. The WWII actioner has banked $35.1 million.
Charlie's Angels [CHAR3] bombed with a third place opening of just $8.6 million. The audience was 61% female and 55% 25 or older.
Playing with Fire [PLWFR] declined just 33% from its opening to $8.6 million and fourth overall. The family film has earned $25.5 million.
Last Christmas [LCHRS] finished fifth with $6.7 million, down 41% in its second weekend. The romance has wrapped up $22.6 million.
Doctor Sleep [DRSLP] tumbled 56% from its debut to $6.2 million and the sixth spot. The horror has grossed $25.0 million.
The Good Liar [GLIAR] opend in seventh place with $5.7 million. The film skewed 60% female and 85% 35 and older.
