Whisper Numbers: The Croods: A New Age to hold over for another weekend

With post-Thanksgiving COVID-19 cases now surging, the daily death toll in the United States has been breaking records at over 3000 per day. The theatrical business continues to suffer as a result. The Croods: A New Age [CROD2] may ice just $2.5 million to lead for a third straight weekend.

Emily Blunt [EBLUN] and Jamie Dornan [JDORN] pair up and attempt southern Irish accents in Wild Mountain Thyme [WMTHY]. Bleecker Street is releasing the PG-13 rated romance day-n-date in 450 theaters and on VOD. Wild Mountain Thyme may be able to collect $400K.

Half Brothers [HFBRO] should make it a close race for second place if the comedy holds 55% of its opening, which would also be around $400K.
