Even though more than 50% of movie theaters are still closed and the film was also available on HBO Max, Tom & Jerry [TMJRY] still managed to pull in an estimated $13.7 million to debut atop the weekend box office. Playing in 2475 theaters, the hybrid film attracted an audience that was 51% female.
The Croods: A New Age accumulated $1.2 million for the second spot and an overall sum of $52.4 million.
The Little Things nabbed another $925K to push its total to $12.9 million. Judas and the Black Messiah [JWMHB] earned $500K to finish at $4.1 million after its fourth weekend.
Land [LAND] staked another $355K to bring its total to $2.1 million.
