The lack of new wide releases allowed holdover films to stretch their legs this weekend at the box office. Godzilla vs. Kong [GOVKO] ruled for a third straight week with an estimated $7.7 million, down 44% from the previous weekend. The film has earned $80.5 million.
Nobody [NOBOD] was off only 5% from last weekend to stay in second place at $2.5 million, bringing its total to $19.1 million after its fourth weekend.
The Unholy [SHRNE] finished third with $2.1 million, slipping just 14% in its third session. The horror film has grossed $9.6 million.
Voyagers [VYGRS] booked $790K, declining 43% in its second outing to advance its total $2.6 million.
The Girl Who Believes in Miracles [TGWBM] held flat in its second weekend of wide expansion, taking in another $561K to run its collection to $2.0 million.
Opening in 547 theaters, In the Earth [NERTH] grossed $506K.
