Moviegoers returned to theaters over the President’s Day holiday weekend as Uncharted [UNCHT] looted an estimated $51.0 million over the 4-day weekend to lead the box office. The videogame adaptation brought out a crowd that was 60% males and 70% under the age 35.
Dog [DOG] debuted in the second spot with $18.0 million over the long weekend. The drama received an A- CinemaScore from an audience that was 54% females and 73% over 25.
Spider-Man: No Way Home [SPID8.BW] climbed back up to the third position at $9.0 million, advancing its total to $771.9 million.
Last weekend’s top film, Death on the Nile [DNILE] fell to fourth place with $7.5 million. The 3-day portion decayed 51% from opening weekend.
Jackass Forever [JCKA5] added another $6.2 million in its third weekend to bring its total to $47.7 million.
Marry Me [MARRY] finished fifth with $4.3 million. The 3-day portion dropped 54% from opening weekend.
The Cursed [8FSLV] rounded out the top 10 with a $2.0 million debut over the 4-day weekend.
