The concluding chapter in Universal’s dinosaur franchise, Jurassic World: Dominion [JURA6] dominated the weekend box office with an estimated $143.37 million. The debut falls short of previous installments Jurassic World’s $208.8 million in 2015 and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s $148.0 million in 2018. Dominion appealed to a fanbase that was 54% males and 59% over the age of 25.
After two weeks in the lead, Top Gun: Maverick [TOPG2] fell to second with another $50.0 million. The sequel has amassed $393.34 million.
The Bob’s Burgers Movie [BOBSB] served up another $2.34 million to bring its total to $27.09 million after 3 weekends.
Downton Abbey: A New Era [DWTA2] brought in $1.65 milllion in its fourth weekend, advancing its total to $39.99 million.
Crimes of the Future [CRMOF] decayed 66% in its second weekend to $376K and a total of $2.01 million.
Watcher [WATCR] declined 59% from its opening to $335K for a current sum of $1.57 million.
Men [MEN] grossed $71K in its fourth weekend for a total of $7.50 million.
