Minions: The Rise of Gru [MNIO2] remained in second place at $26.0 million in its third outing, advancing its total to $262.56 million.
Where the Crawdads Sing [WTCDS] tuned up $17.0 million to debut at the third spot. 54% of the audience were women over the age of 25.
Top Gun: Maverick [TOPG2.BW] brought down another $12.0 million to take its total to $617.96 million.
Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank [BLAZS] opened with $6.25 million. The animated film received an A- CinemaScore.
Elvis [ELVIS] strummed $7.6 million in its fourth weekend to bring its total to $106.2 million. The Black Phone [BPHON] grossed another $5.31 million for a total of $72.05 million after 4 weekends.
Opening in 980 theaters, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris [MHGTP] sewed up $1.9 million.
