The opening fell short of Halloween Kills’ $49 million, which also debut-day-n-date on Peacock a year ago. Moviegoers graded the finale C+ on CinemaScore compared to B- for the previous installment.
After 2 weeks at the top, Smile [SWROS] continues to hold strong with a third weekend at $12.4 million. The horror film stands at $71.17 million.
Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile [LYLEC] declined 35% in its sophomore session to $7.4 million, bringing its sum to $22.76 million.
Amsterdam [AMSTR] dropped 55% from its debut to $2.89 million for a running total of $11.96 million.
Don’t Worry Darling [DWDRL] finished its fourth weekend with $2.19 million and $42.40 million.
Bros [BROS] brought in another $920K to advance its total to $10.84 million after 3 weekends.
Terrifier 2 [TERF2] increased 6% in its second weekend to $850K, bringing its tally to $2.30 million.
