First trailer for The Pale Blue Eye

Netflix has dropped the teaser trailer for the thriller The Pale Blue Eye [TPBEY] set in 1830. Christian Bale stars as a detective who is hired to investigate the gruesome murder of a cadet at the military academy West Point.  He enlists a young cadet named Edgar Allan Poe, played by Harry Melling, to help solve the case.  Directed by Scott Cooper, The Pale Blue Eye opens in theaters on December 23rd before hitting Netflix on January 6th.
