Last weekend’s top film The Little Mermaid [TLMER] grossed $40.6 million, down 57% from its opening. The remake has banked $186.2 million.
The Boogeyman [NTERR] debuted at the third spot with $12.3 million. The horror film appealed to an audience that was 57% female.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 [GOTG3.BW] finished fourth with $10.2 million, upping its total to $322.71 million.
Fast X [FASTX] finished fifth at $9.24 million. The sequel has fueled up $128.47 million after three weekends.
About My Father [ABMFT] decline 51% from its debut to $2.10 million, bringing its running total to $8.82 million.
The Machine [TMCHN] dropped 65% in its second weekend to $1.75 million for a total of $8.71 million after 10 days.
You Hurt My Feelings [BETHD] held 55% of its debut at $770K for a second weekend tally of $3.00 million.
Kandahar [KNDHR] earned $765K, off 67% from its opening. The actioner stands at $4.24 million.
Book Club: The Next Chapter [BKCL2] grossed $200K to take its sum to $17.08 million after 4 weekends.
