A Haunting in Venice topped the previous Detective Poirot film Death on the Nile, which debuted to $12.89 million in 2022 after delays due to the pandemic as well as bad publicity surrounding Armie Hammer. The audience was 51% male and 82% over the age of 25.
The Equalizer 3 [EQLZ3] finished third with $7.24 million, bringing its total to $73.68 million after 3 weekends.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 [MBFG3] dropped 53% in its second weekend to $4.7 million. The total sits at $18.57 million.
Jawan [JAWAN] tumbled 59% from its debut to $2.49 million for a running sum of $12.19 million.
