Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes [APES4] was dethroned to second with $26.0 million. The sequel decayed 55% from its opening to bring its total to $101.24 million.
The Strangers: Chapter 1 [STRN3] opened in third place with $12.0 million. The horror reboot attracted an audience that was 55% female and 69% between the ages 18-34.
The Fall Guy [FALGY] took in $8.45 million in its third weekend to bring its total to $62.99 million.
Challengers [CHALN] returned $2.94 million in its fourth set for a total of $43.51 million.
The Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black [BTBLK] debuted with just $2.85 million.
Tarot [HRSCP] nabbed another $2.0 million in its third weekend to push its sum to $15.43 million.
Unsung Hero [UNSUN] grossed $1.10 million to advance its tally to $19.07 million after 4 weekends.
