Bringing joy to the summer box office for a second weekend, Inside Out 2 [INOU2] remained champion with an estimated $100.0 million, the biggest second weekend ever for an animated film, and seventh largest ever. The Pixar sequel declined just 35% in its sophomore frame to bring its haul to $355.18 million in 10 days.
Staying at the two spot, Bad Boys: Ride or Die [BADB4] booked $18.78 million in its third session, pushing its total to $146.91 million.
The Bikeriders [BKRDR] revved up $10.0 million to debut in third place. The motorcycle club drama appealed to an audience that was 57% males and 74% over the age of 25.
The Exorcism [TGTWP] debuted with $2.44 million from 2240 theaters. The Russell Crowe starrer received a D CinemaScore.
Opening in 1290 theaters, Thelma [THELM] earned $2.21 million.
The Watchers [WATCS] took in another $1.94 million, bringing its tally to $17.75 million after 3 weekends.
