In a battle for second place, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever [TBCPE] has a slight lead with $11.1 million including $2.3 million in early access screenings. The Lionsgate holiday film brought out a crowd that was 65% females and 66% over the age of 35.
Heretic [HERTC] follows closely with a $11.02 million debut. The A24 thriller converted an audience that was 55% males and 40% between the ages 25 and 34.
Smile 2 [SMIL2] brought out another $5.0 million, bringing its total to $60.54 million after 4 weekends.
Conclave [CNCLV] earned $4.10 million in its third weekend for a sum of $21.51 million.
Here [HERE1] dropped 50% from its debut to $2.43 million, bringing its total to $9.50 million.
Anora [ANORA] tallied $2.46 million in its wide expansion to 1104 theaters. The awards contender has collected $7.22 million.
We Live in Time [WLITM] netted $2.21 million in its fourth weekend of wide release to advance its total to $21.81 million.
Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom [OLTSK] opened with $1.165 million from 621 theaters.
Opening in 1416 theaters, Elevation [ELVTN] earned $1.0 million.
Small Things Like These [SMTLT] took in $586K from 799 locations.
Playing in 1021 theaters, Weekend in Taipei [WKNTP] debuted with $360K.
