Coming 24 years after the Oscar-winning original, Gladiator II [GLAD2] debuted in second place with $55.50 million. The action sequel was graded a B CinemaScore by an audience that was 61% males.
Last weekend’s champ Red One [REDON] finished third at $13.28 million. The holiday film dropped 59% from its debut to bring its total to $52.91 million.
Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin [BNHFR] opened in fourth place with $5.12 million. The faith-based film appealed to a crowd that was 54% female and 79% over 35.
Venom: The Last Dance [VENM3.BW] rounded out the top five with $4.00 million for a 5th weekend total of $133.83 million.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever [TBCPE] booked another $3.50 million, bringing its total to $25.52 million after 3 weekends.
Heretic [HERTC] took in $2.23 million in its third weekend to bring its sum to $24.77 million.

In its third weekend of wide release, Anora [ANORA] brought in $675K to advance its total to $12.02 million.
