First trailer for The Beaver

Originally scheduled for release this year, Summit's drama The Beaver [BEAVR] was postponed when Mel Gibson's [MGIBS] real life troubles put his boorish behavior in the public spotlight once again.   Hoping enough time have passed for moviegoers to forget and perhaps forgive, Summit has uploaded the first trailer and decided  to open the film in Spirng 2011.  Directed by Jodie Foster [JFOST], The Beaver seems the perfect vehicle for Gibson and his public persona at his next film.  The tagline for The Beaver "He's here to save Walter's Life" could just as well say "He's here to save Mel's career".  Can Gibson find redemption through a hand puppet?
