Ruling the weekend box office for a second weekend, the mighty Thor [THOR] collected an estimated $34.5 million. The Marvel superhero declined 48% in its second weekend to bring its total to $119.3 million.
Universal's raunchy comedy Bridesmaids [BRDSM] took second place with a better than expected $24.4 million. The well-reviewed film successfully connected with female moviegoers who made up 67% of the audience and hsould be rewarded with legs.
Fast Five [FFUR5] finished third with $19.5 million. The action sequel advanced its tally to $168.8 million after three weeks.
Sony Screen Gems' Priest [PRIES] debuted at the fourth spot with $14.5 million. The action horror skewed slightly male at 57%.
