20th Century has dropped a new trailer for the scifi sequel Avatar: The Way of the Water [AVAT2]. Director James Cameron revisits the world of Pandora more than 10 years after the original Avatar took the world by storm. Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana reprise their roles as Jake and Neytiri. Avatar: The Way of the Water opens in theaters on December 16th.

With scant competition at the weekend box office, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever [BPNT2] easily retained the crown with an estimated $67.3 million. The Marvel sequel declined 63% from its opening to bring its total to $287.99 million.
The Menu [TMENU] debuted in second place with $9.0 million from 3211 theaters. Moviegoers gave the drama only a B CinemaScore.
Black Adam finished third with $4.48 million for a total of $156.97 million after five weekends.

Walt Disney has revealed the teaser trailer for the Pixar animated film Elemental [ELMNT] set in a world where fire-, water-, land- and air-residents live together. Leah Lewis voices a fiery Ember and Mamoudou Athie voices a watery Wade whose friendship challenges the world they live in. Directed by Peter Sohn, Elemental opens in theaters on June 16, 2023.

Paramount has hiked the official trailer for the comedy 80 For Brady [80FBR] inspired by a true story. Lily Tomlin [LTOML], Jane Fonda [JFOND], Rita Moreno [RMORE] and Sally Field [SFIEL] star as four best friends who embark on a trip to watch their hero Tom Brady play in 2017 Super Bowl LI. 80 For Brady is set to open in theaters on February 3rd.

Apple has uploaded the official full-length trailer for the drama Emancipation [EMNCP] set in the South during the Civil War. Will Smith stars as a real-life man who escaped slavery and fought to reunite with his family. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, Emancipation opens in theaters on December 2nd, before streaming on Apple TV+ December 9th.
