Universal has released a second trailer for the war in Afghanistan drama Lone Survivor [LSURV] on Apple. Based on a true story, Mark Wahlberg [MWAHL], Taylor Kitsch [TKITS], Emile Hirsch [EHIRS] and Ben Foster [BFOST] play four Navy SEALs on a covert mission to kill a senior Taliban target when they are ambushed by the enemy after making a difficult moral decision. Directed by Peter Berg [PEBER], the film could turn out to be a surprise awards contender. Lone Survivor opens limited on December 27th before expanding wide on January 10th.
