I recommend using edzep's Port Monkey addon. It allows you to see how stocks in your portfolio have moved since your last browser refresh.
Of course, this means that you have to actually own a share of the stock, so you can't see how stocks you don't own are moving for the day. For this reason, I say radar a bunch of stocks, especially the ones in the the top movers up and down.
