multiple accounts

Sorry for the basic question, but i thought we weren't supposed to have multiple accounts. I know it has something to do with using the same strategies and the implications of manipulation, but if i bought a starBond with an duplicate account, i would probably buy the same bond in my main port as well. Is this okay?
