The advanced trader and I don't get along. I believe the security needs to be currently active for it to set up the trade, -more-
since it needs to check if the trade will occur immediately.
When I've set it up, it either executes the trade immediately, or states that my attempt isn't allowed. I understand "stop loss" selling, but I have no clue on if it uses >= or <= the amount you enter to trigger the event, clarification on this from a site other than The Ampersand (which covers how it worked 8 years ago) would be pretty cool.

This ^^ is correct. The security needs to be 'active' in order for Advanced Trader to work.... {nm} Apr 25, 08:42
