1) One of the biggest movies of Summer 2011 was FAST5 but it did not have a BW because it opened on April 29, 2 days too early
2) one of the biggest movies of 2011 was THELP....it did not have a BW because, well, Who Knew?
3) one of the biggest movies of 2011 PUSNB would not have had a HW because it opened the last weekend of October.
4) the system needed revision.
The new system does not have automatic zero delists for failures like TMBOY or ROAGE as examples, which might have had a BW if the values of April were used, rather than the realities of June.
The new system also allows for realistic strike prices. Antibody/DMac has done a good job of having reasonable strikes, where you make H$ in reasonable amounts, and most have not delisted at zero, way better than the 50 pct usual in the old system.
Best of all, the new system resulted from a "Flash of Genius" which is totally cool.
Why r HSX doing staggered blockbuster warrants now & not mass warrants at the start of the season? {nm} kooties Jun 17, 05:49

No - it corrected a system that wasn't working so it could set realistic strike prices with more available data srrichardson Jun 17, 22:55
