To put it in perspective, kaigee recently posted a list of per day averages, and only a dozen or so players in the top 10,000 are over 2 mil per day. So expecting to reach 1 billion in your first 365 days (you would need 2.75 mil per day to reach it) seems a lot on the high end, especially considering early on it's almost impossible to reach those averages because of low cash for investments.
I finished my 1st full year with 633 mil. IMHO anything over 400 million would be considered very impressive...
