Why don't the IPO'ing Calls and Puts longs and the shorts adding to the total traded so far today?

Example:

Chasing Mavericks H$5 Put (MVRCK.PU)

Shares Held Long on HSX: 950,488
Shares Held Short on HSX: 140,000
Trading Volume on HSX (Today): 1,150,488

Longs and Shorts add to 1,090,488 not 1,150,488.

It just means that 3 people (60,000 shares) have been sold or covered. Could've been to correct a mistake, or just change their mind... {nm} slappydavid Oct 17, 11:23

Yep. I was one of em, pressing the wrong "buy max" / "sell max" button. And needing to reverse the buy/sell. {nm} PVL Admin Oct 17, 15:08
